First in what I’m referring to as the Horizon Series. This piece is inspired by the bold colors of our blooming desert against an often near lifeless looking desert floor…oh surprise. The desert southwest is said to have some of the most amazing and colorful skies at sunset, I have to agree, and its showy finale at the end of the day is a regular occurrence for us here in Tucson, Arizona.

This is my favorite with the vibrant colors and the symbolism of the blooms. A very nice example of abstract expressionism.
